The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially opened the post-result services window for students who appeared in the Class 12 Board Examinations 2026. This transparent process allows students to ensure their answer scripts were evaluated correctly through a three-stage process: Marks Verification, Obtaining Photocopies of Answer Books, and Re-evaluation of specific questions.
Three Stages of CBSE Post-Result Services
Students must follow these stages sequentially. You cannot apply for re-evaluation without first going through marks verification and obtaining a photocopy.
- Stage 1: Verification of Marks: CBSE checks for any totaling errors or un-evaluated answers.
- Stage 2: Photocopy of Answer Sheet: Students can request a scanned copy of their evaluated answer scripts to review the marking personally.
- Stage 3: Re-evaluation: If a student finds a discrepancy after receiving the photocopy, they can apply for a re-evaluation of specific questions.
CBSE 12th Revaluation Fees 2026
The application fees must be paid online via Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. Note that fees are non-refundable.
- Verification of Marks: Calculated per subject.
- Photocopy of Answer Book: Calculated per subject.
- Re-evaluation: Calculated per question.

How to Apply for CBSE 12th Revaluation 2026 Online

- Navigate to the 'Examinations' or 'Post-Result Services' section.
- Click on the link for 'Apply for Revaluation/Verification 2026'.
- Log in using your Roll Number, School Number, and Admit Card ID.
- Select the subjects and the specific service (Verification/Photocopy/Re-evaluation) you wish to apply for.
- Pay the required fee through the integrated online payment gateway.
- Submit the form and download the confirmation page for future reference.
Important Instructions for Students
- Applications are accepted Online Only. Offline requests via post or email will not be entertained.
- After re-evaluation, the marks may increase, decrease, or remain the same. The revised marks will be considered final, and a new marksheet will be issued.
- Applying for re-evaluation should be done carefully after consulting with subject teachers to avoid unnecessary expenses.
- Status of applications can be tracked regularly on the CBSE portal using the login credentials.
